This House was remodeled to help the family that was at risk of becoming home less.

During various activities, we partnered with the city of Houston Refugee Consortium of Texas YMCA, Catholic Charities, and Refugee Services of Texas Harris County Clinic where newly arrived refugees were referred to for receiving medical attention and immunizations. There also was Interfaith Ministry of Great Houston Children Hospital to provide and sponsor refugee families with Christmas gifts and other needed services for families to quickly settle in the United States.
We partnered with Dress for Success Houston to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and development tools to help women to thrive at work and in their lives. That facilitated the job retention and career advancement to many women in Houston area. We also partnered with AT&T to provide phone lines to newly arrived refugee families in order to contact Ms. Ella in case of emergency because she was the only English interpreter (source) for all refugees who came there.
